Steffan has worked in financial and corporate communications for over 15 years.  He co-founded Capital in 2001 having previously been the Head of the global TMT practice at Thomson Financial/Carson, the world’s largest investor relations consultancy. Before this, he was a Director at Citigate Dewe Rogerson.

Steffan has provided communications advice to numerous corporates during his career, both during special situations and on an ongoing basis. Clients have included Deutsche Telekom, Procter & Gamble, London Stock Exchange, Arcelor and Emirates NBD.

He is the Chairman of the International Chapter of NIRI, the National Investor Relations Institute and is also a Director of the Public Relations Consultant’s Association (PRCA), the voice of public relations consultancies in the UK.

Steffan is a graduate in Modern History from Oxford University and is now a Trustee of the University’s rugby club.  He speaks French and Welsh.
