Mary has 15 years’ experience in strategic financial communications.  She specialises in advising small and large companies on all aspects of their financial and corporate communications.  She has a wealth of experience in M&A, IPOs and fund raisings.

Mary joined Capital MS&L in 2003 and heads up the firm’s Life Sciences team.  She was previously Head of the European Consulting team at Thomson Financial, the world’s largest investor relations company, where she advised a large number of companies on investor relations strategies, and all aspects of corporate and financial communications.

Prior to Thomson Financial, she was Director of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations at BTG plc.  Whilst at BTG, she was involved in the Company’s IPO on the London Stock Exchange, various fund raisings, the demerger and listing on the LSE of its subsidiary Torotrak, and the starting up of several new tech and biotech companies.  During her time at BTG, Mary saw its market capitalisation rise from $60 million at IPO to over $2.5 billion.

Her clients include Teva Pharmaceutical, Intercell, Sinclair Pharma, Transgene, Rovi, Tepnel and Phynova.

Mary was ranked in the top 5 biotech professionals in Extel investor relations survey voted by leading institutional investors and sell-side analysts.
